I’m Linda Brent, the founder of Blue Toby Pet Products. I am a professional animal behavior scientist and have studied primates and pets for 35 years.
Are you tired of dealing with cheaply made and smelly pet beds? Most beds are hard to keep clean and fall apart in just a few months.
Fed up with the current beds on the market, I bought a sewing machine and decided to make my own long-lasting pet beds for my dogs. After three years of testing dozens of prototypes and seeing the positive results with happy dogs, cats and their people, I knew I was on to something. So, I decided I wanted to help make more pets and pet parents happier together by sharing my better pet beds.
I started a public benefit company and named it after my two dogs. The Blue Toby Sustainable Pet Bed System was launched! Blue Toby beds are made with healthy, environmentally friendly materials, a unique second outer cover for easy care, furniture quality materials and custom fabric designs. The bed system is customizable to the needs of your pet.
Our mission is making pets and their people happier together.
We believe that our products can have a positive effect on pets as well as making it easier for pet parents to provide loving care.
As I write this, Toby reminded me that we have an even larger goal! We picked Toby from among hundreds of hopeful dogs at the local county shelter, all on concrete without even a blanket. It was heartbreaking, and I vowed to try to help them.
When you make a purchase from Blue Toby, you are also giving pet beds and support to animals in need. I created Blue Toby as a woman-owned public benefit business – giving back to animals in need is not only our main goal, but part of our business plan. Our focus is on pets, people, and the planet.
